Victory in Jesus Ministry

Introduction

The purpose of Victory in Jesus, simply stated, is to teach believers, by the Word of God, how to get free and stay free from any bondages that have attached themselves to the believer. VIJ is a training ground to instruct believers and non-believers on the authority that we have to overcome all bondages.

The Word of God tells us to train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it. The primary mission of Victory in Jesus is to train up believers in the authority given us through Christ and bring an understanding that will make them more productive for their families, their place of work, and most importantly, for Jesus Christ. The ministry will help anyone who is struggling with sin.

Believers who are not strong in certain areas of their lives will learn how to grow strong by learning how to use faith in God as an offensive weapon rather than merely a way to cope. In addition, believers who are burdened with the care of loved ones who have problems with drugs, alcohol, oppression, and depression learn how to minister freedom on their own.

Victory in Jesus will help anyone who is struggling with sin, learn how to break the power of sin in their lives. (Romans 7:7-26)

While this ministry has been formerly recognized as primarily a drug and alcohol rehabilitation ministry, it is much more than that. It not only ministers to drug addicts and alcoholics, but has been instrumental in healing the sick, delivering the oppressed and ministering salvation.

They work from a familiarity with the problems presented, as they themselves were once in similar positions. Their passion is to teach, as they have learned, how to live in the freedom Christ died to make possible.

In Ephesians 6 verse 12 God's word says that our battles are not against enemies of flesh and blood but that they are from the spiritual powers of evil who are against us. Victory In Jesus Ministry teaches how in this present age we are to take upon ourselves the whole armor of God so that we may be able to receive power to withstand our ground and be victorious in all things.

It is the Lord who says above all else that we should prosper and be in good health. It is through the Lord's spirit dwelling within each of us that he empowers us to do all things.

Through prayer and meditation the Holy Ghost reveals to us the destructive forces and illuminates the turmoil that the enemy has caused in our lives. Understanding spiritual ways allows us to see the influence the enemy's deceit has had over us. It's through the lie of the enemy and the deceit that he has placed in our minds that provides him power and strengthens his control over us. The Lord said that it is through lack of knowledge that we perish. The anointed bible teachings of Victory In Jesus Ministry clearly speak out against self-sabotage and teaches attendees how to stand on the Word of God to overcome all things.

Understanding how and positioning ourselves to receive revelation knowledge sets the life changing truth free. It is through the understanding of spiritual ways that we can come spiritually against the wicked in high places to break every yoke and lift every burden.

Based upon the teachings of the Word of God, Victory In Jesus attendees are brought out of the kingdom of darkness into the Lord's magnificent light. From supernatural manifestations of healings to the freedom from captivity of addictions, the whisper of the Lord has become a shout into the ear of thousands who have attended the services.

Victory In Jesus Ministry was founded fifteen years ago by Vinny Longo, an evangelist, and his wife Nancy, both ministers of the Gospel and Elders at Faith Fellowship Ministries, Sayreville, New Jersey.

The Word of God teaches that we already possess the power as well as the authority over every bondage of the wicked one. It is through the wondrous working power of God and his mercy that we are restored, strengthened and renewed.

It is the movement of the Holy Ghost in Victory In Jesus services that leads attendees to become armed and dangerous warriors in the army of God. Victory In Jesus Ministry is a gift to every spirit filled believer and a special arrow in the quiver of every spiritual warrior.
