From the Ministry...
"Victory in Jesus" is a stable part of Faith Fellowship Ministries (FFM) World Outreach Center's continued growth, and has been since 1985. Vinny & Nancy have been a great blessing both to me and to the entire congregation, as well as the community. Many testimonies of victories over habits and diseases have been recorded, for which we give "Glory to God." Take advantage of the "Victory in Jesus" team. They will be a blessing to you, as they have been to us here at FFM! -Rev. David T. Demola, Ph.D., Pastor Faith Fellowship Ministries

Your honesty about your life before Christ, in your book Victory in Jesus, is a testimony of God's saving grace and the power of God unto salvation. Thank you for sharing your life with me and our church...you are a blessing from God. Know that the War on Drugs crusade we did together at Christian Victory Fellowship was a blessing to many and not to be forgotten! -Rev. Joseph Catanese, Senior Pastor, Christian Victory Fellowship

Rev. Vinny Longo has not only written an inspiring book entitled Victory in Jesus, this is the banner and the heartcry of his ministry. We've prayerfully supported Rev. Vinny for many years. Rev. Vinny ministered at one of our Victory in Jesus services, where, in addition to our members, nearly 200 people from various "shelters/homes" were in attendance. That night, 11 were born again and several others received healing. We were truly blessed by Rev. Longo's visit. -Revs. Wayne & Maryann Berry, John 3:16 Christian Center

From the Publisher...
As a writer and editor, I have worked with many authors and books over several years. Seldom have I felt so strongly impelled to be a part of a writing project as I have felt about Victory in Jesus. Its message has the potential to change people, including the Body of Christ, in ways we haven't seen since the publication of The Cross and the Switchblade and Run, Baby, Run. Reading Victory in Jesus, is a spiritual experience, and its anointing will touch every area of your heart and soul. -Lloyd B. Hildebrand

And more from the people... a letter from Valerie
And these signs shall follow those that believe
in the name of Jesus
They shall lay hands on the sick
and they will recover
They shall cast out demons
they shall preach the good news of the Gospel of Christ;
setting the captives free by the burden removing
yoke destroying, power of God
The power embodied in the Holy Spirit
and now dwelling in the Born Again Believer

My name is Valerie and I am writing this letter along with my sister, Tammi to serve as a testimony of the importance of "Victory in Jesus" in our Christian walk.

'We weren't addicted to drugs or alcohol; nor were we living an alternate lifestyle. God had blessed us in our jobs, home, and personal health. So why were we in VIJ? Other than speaking in tongues, the signs that Jesus said would follow believers, weren't following us. While we were being blessed personally, our family was being attacked and overcome by Satan; as we, with the armor of God, stood powerless to a less powerful force.

We were believers and the fullness of the Godhead dwelled bodily in us. We were filled with the power of God, yet powerless to those around us, ourselves held captive to an unrenewed mind. We wondered how we could be filled with the power of God and show absolutely no sign of that power in the dying world around us? If the Greater One was in us, why were we being defeated by the lesser one? Since the Word is God and God is truth, the problem was not with the Anointing, nor was it true that Satan is more powerful than God, on earth. The hindrance to the power of God was the man (the believer) to whom God had given responsibility for demonstrating His power here on earth. The revelation was that if man wasn't moving, God wasn't moving! Why? Because, the power of God had taken residence bodily in man as was demonstrated for our example bodily in Jesus, the Son of Man.

On Sunday mornings and Thursday nights, we were distributed the weapon of our warfare; uncompromised, cleaned, and sharpened to its anointed perfection. We were well suited for battle, equipped and highly knowledgeable of our weapons; yet we found ourselves defeated by an enemy (although less powerful) more knowledgeable of us than we were of him. Therefore, making him more powerful than us. We needed more knowledge of our enemy and more importantly the power behind our weapon, the Holy Spirit; thus, "Victory in Jesus."

We started attending "Victory in Jesus" in November of 1997 and remain there in training for the front lines of the Christian Army to date. We intend to do major damage to the enemies camp, taking back all that was stolen from us and others as well. VIJ reinforced that we are in a spiritual battle. Our enemy is a highly organized spiritual force to which our flesh is held powerless. However, our spirit man is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus if always led by the Holy Spirit. In order to win this battle, we had to see pass the physical and into the spiritual realm. We had to develop a deeper understanding of the power within us and renew our minds to get in line with God's Word and under subjection to His Spirit. So when Satan (who is a spirit), would attack in the natural we would counter-attack in the spirit where he is always defeated.

Satan is constantly attacking and the battles are many. We would like to share two instances in this testimony.

Jan 10,1998 (Saturday Night): On Tammi's birthday, her car was stolen from our townhouse complex. Our first reaction was fleshly, stunned, confusion. That lasted for a moment. After gaining our composure, we came together in prayer. First, that those who stole the car would come to the full knowledge of Jesus Christ. Secondly, and because we didn't want to get into our flesh and pray negatively, we prayed in tongues. On Sunday morning, we borrowed our brother's car and went to church praising God for the miracle that we knew would take place. On Monday morning, Tammi received a phone call from the police informing her that the car was found abandoned in Newark. Today, the car is in better shape than it was before it was stolen.

Mar 9,1998 (Sunday Night) On Sunday night, we received a frantic call from our cousin in Virginia informing us that her nineteen year old son had been arrested in Harlem for driving a car without a license. He had no money and no identification and the friend with whom he traveled from VA to NY denied their relationship. The police told his mother that if his case was not heard on Monday, they would send him to Riker's Island. After receiving the news, we prayed a hedge of protection around our cousin and that he would not be touched by any unclean spirit. We prayed that Jesus would be the advocate on his behalf and that he would not be held captive to the NY prison system.

On Monday morning, my cousin's case was hand picked from a pool of weekend arrestees. By one o'clock Monday afternoon, he was released from a downtown Manhattan jail and into my care. When I picked him up the attorney informed me that he should never have been arrested. Glory to God! My sister and brother drove him back to Virginia and into his mother's arms on Monday night. This was done as a sign to demonstrate to Satan that we mean business. If he wants a fight, then he's going to get a good one from us.
